How soon can someone look at it?
Technicians are out 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and the line is answered around the clock. Desert Ridge and the Central Avenue corridor sit on the same two routes, so a call placed in the morning often gets an afternoon slot on one of them. If it has to be tomorrow, we say so on the phone rather than after you have waited in.
What does the visit cost?
An $89 service call covers the trip and the full diagnosis, and it is credited in full against the repair once you approve the work. You get the price for the repair before anything is taken apart, so nothing is opened up on the strength of an estimate.
Is it really only Wolf?
Only Wolf, and only the cooking side of it: dual-fuel and all-gas ranges, sealed-burner rangetops, gas, electric and induction cooktops, built-in wall ovens, convection steam ovens, wall hoods, inserts and downdraft ventilation. Refrigeration is a different trade with different tooling and we do not pretend otherwise.
A burner clicks and clicks and will not light. Is that a part?
Usually not. A spark that keeps firing means the module is working and the gas is not reaching an ignitable mixture at the electrode. Fine dust after a storm, a dried boil-over bridging the electrode to the burner base, or a cracked ceramic insulator account for most of these. Only when the electrode is clean, dry and correctly gapped does the module become the suspect.
Do you carry parts on the van?
The common failures ride with us: igniters and electrodes, spark modules, burner caps and heads, bake elements, oven temperature sensors, thermal fuses, hood blower motors, baffle filters, door hinges and gaskets. Sealed valves, glass touch panels and control boards are ordered to the exact model, because fitting the near-enough part to a Wolf is how a one-visit repair becomes three.
Will a 48-inch range fit the way it is installed in an older Central Phoenix kitchen?
Often it already does, but not always well. In the 1920s and 30s houses off Central we routinely find a pro range on an undersized gas run, or pushed so tight to a plaster return that the burner box cannot breathe and the flames lift. Both are fixable, and both explain symptoms that look electrical from the front.
